Making a Start
July 2009 Print

In July 2009 White Waltham Church was granted permission to make a start on the construction works for the proposed building.  These works comprised the leveling of a part of the site and the insertion of pilings.  The completion of these works preserved planning permission that had been granted in July 2004.

As part of the works, a sample brick and flint panel was erected for approval by RBWM planners. (see photo in Photos section)

A Faculty (Diocesan permission for the project) was then granted in March 2010.  Click here to view the Faculty document. (note: this will probably open in a new tab or window)

Project Rainbow now has all the permissions it needs as it embarks on a programme of fund raising to raise £492,500, the estimated cost of the building works.
